YASUKICHI SUZUKI

Yasukichi is a Contact Improvisation dancer, teacher, and organises CI jam in
tokyo japan.

She has been dancing since a young age and has been developing ever since she encountered CI in 2000. She has been teaching CI in many different countries of South East Asia indoors and site specific.

LET’S GO TOGETHER

Each day we will start the C I sessions with our bodies and senses to tune with each other. We will find diverse ways to
connect with our partners, to connect with the earth, space, and gravity, We will focus on the touch and listening to our senses, our shared weight,  breath and the relationship we build physically and mentally. Finding our bodies and minds becoming one we will together dance
beyond.

​At the end of the sessions we will explore a playful approach of CI and dance more  with
intention, momentum and body conversation. Let’s go together to co-create, surprise ourselves with the
unknown, with a lot of fun, gentleness and compassion.
