MORPH LOGICS – ( A consideration of state)

By designing objectives for the body to complete, to literally grapple with/pass through, I will be  building improvisations as a mechanism to extract.. actions that completely influence the movement and then watch the evolution of this this., the individual craft involved with setting and morphing between objective and dance.

BEYOND GONE

This is a workshop about why we move and how we connect. It will focus on internal states that drive action with the proposal that through movement we transcend our own self-perception and judgement, freeing the body and the mind.
In the workshop we will be working on the origin of the dancing body beyond aesthetics. What motivates us (and by that I mean all of us, not just dancers) to move? Where does the desire come from and how is it communicated?

POWERFUL AND FRAGILE

Movement is the key tool of the work. These classes are directed to people interested in dance as an art of expression. Powerful and Fragile is a way to understand dominance applied to our relations with each other and the environment. This duality offers a large range of possibilities of interpretation. It’s impressive how easy is to mirror oneself on them.

SHAPE SHIFTING

The workshop’s objective is to find alternative shapes and movement languages through the exploration of speed applied to different movement techniques.
