[About the Workshop]

A style create by Ana T. Forrest. Ana developed Forrest Yoga with an emphasis on intensity and specialized sequencing.

Forrest Yoga is a challenging yet healing practice, suitable for everyone, it only requires a willingness to learn how to feel authentically and respond honestly.

Ana modified and created new asana to address today’s lifestyle physical ailments.  For example lower and upper back pain, neck and shoulder issues, carpal tunnel syndrome, abdominal related issues. These are often due to our unhealthy habitual behavior.

It is an inspiring yoga practice that builds flexibility, intelligence and strength while helping deepen the relationship with your authentic self. Forrest Yoga teaches the practitioner how to feel authentically and respond honestly to oneself. The practice also provides an opportunity to realise and cleanse the mental and emotional blocks that are causing disturbances and limitations in one’s live.

The Art of Assisting

Often found at a Forrest Yoga class, students will be hands-on assisted and guided to breathe, to find better postures and alignments, encouraging them to feel their bodies of how and where they are supposed to feel through safe and effective assisting by the observation of trained and experienced Forrest Yoga teachers.

We also assist to deepen students’ practice and meant to bring them to a place where they couldn’t necessarily access to on their own. They are supposed to feel good.

Beginners or students with injuries will be cared for, assisted and given a pose to do during class.
Forrest Yoga is suitable for all levels.

Cindy Lee

Lee May Yee, Cindy is a graduated Music student from University of Newcastle, Aus. She found Yoga and Pilates at Newcastle where she undertake additional Ballet training.

She was really surprise with the combination of Yoga and Pilates, her stamina, flexibility and strength improved greatly.

Cindy completed both Foundation & advanced teacher training with Ana Forrest. It makes huge different with her teaching as well as self-improve.

Cindy has been teaching yoga since 2008. Cindy’s teaching comes from an intent to recognise your personal power and live a life that you truly desire.
